ART CLUB

For the last few weeks, in art club, we have been experimenting with a range of different materials. Children have had the opportunity to investigate materials such as pencil, watercolour paint, powder paint and pastels to bring colour to their beautiful drawings.

They have thoroughly enjoyed having this experience and the outcomes they have produced are beautiful. We are looking forward to displaying some of these pieces of art in our new and up-coming gallery in school.

LOSELEY RANGERS

This half term, members of the Loseley Rangers have taken part in a range of outdoor activities: one of which being playing a good old game of conkers. The children selected their conker, drilled a hole and tied it up securely using an overhand knot.

HOCKEY CLUB

Ross Fergusson from Guildford Hockey Club has been visiting us once a week to run hockey sessions for our year 5’s.

The sessions are part of Guildford Hockey Clubs Schools programme - their aim is to help children in the local community be more active whilst also trying out hockey.

The sessions have been such a big hit with the children that Ross is now staying for longer than originally planned to run more sessions.
