Friends of Loseley Fields

Who are we?

The Friends are a group of parents who volunteer to support the pupils and staff of Loseley Fields Primary School. All parents, carers and grandparents of children across the school are warmly invited to join us.

What do we do?

The role of The Friends is to raise money to help the school provide materials, resources and extra activities for the children to enjoy. With the ongoing cuts to school budgets, this money is used to enhance their overall educational experience. We meet roughly once a term to discuss fundraising ideas and organise events such as discos, quizzes and school fairs.

We are a registered charity: 1157765

How much have we raised?

Since September 2018 we have contributed to:

With the support of families across the school, we hope by September 2019 to raise an amazing £9,000.

How you can help

We warmly welcome all staff and family members of children in the school to attend meetings to share new fundraising ideas, have a say in how money is spent, make new friends and contribute to our school community. We value any offer of help or time you can spare, even if it’s only an hour a month, or just baking a cake for a school fair.

The Friends use Facebook, posters on noticeboards in the playground and Parentmail for communication. Class Reps also help to promote relevant information via class Facebook pages and in person. Minutes of Friends meetings are shared on PTA events for anyone to access. Due to GDPR we are required to gain your consent before we can share information about Friends events with you via Parentmail, please speak to the school office for help in this matter.

Payment for events

We have recently introduced an online payment system for our events:

Match funding

Does your company offer match funding for employees who support a charity event? If so, please do enquire as this can really boost profits from school events, and enable the pupils of Loseley Fields Primary School to benefit from further fantastic new resources.
