We would like to share a news item with you from 'In your Area - Community News'.The article is all about a project we are working on in partnership with 'Roots for the Future'. We plan to plant a native hedgerow and orchard at Loseley Fields and are grateful to Godalming Town Council's Environment & Planning Committee who have awarded us a grant from the Carbon Reduction & Biodiversity Fund of £4,200 for the project. The fund established in 2019, is to provide funding towards projects where a primary aim is to reduce CO2 emissions and promote biodiversity.

Year 3 spent the day exploring what life was like on board the Titanic and how it is different to life today. The children came to school dressed as either a passenger or a member of the crew, they looked amazing and had a fun filled day.

We had the film crew in again today but this time recording our adorable reception children as they performed 'Whoopsy Daisy'. We know its not quite the same as coming in to see the performance but at least their parents will get to see the recording of their fabulous performance.

We Wish You a Merry Christmas

Our Year 2 children today performed 'We Wish You A Merry Christmas' in sign language. Their performance was filmed so that their parents get to see the wonderful performance. They have been practicing hard for this performance and it really showed.

Bikeability

Bikeability Level 1

Today our Year 4 children took part in the Bikeability Level 1 course which aims to develop mastery in cycle handling in an off-road environment and prepare riders for cycling on the road. Well done to all our Year 4 children who took part and passed with flying colours.
