During the Autumn Term, Year 6 had the fantastic opportunity to take part in a number of workshops at Charter House. The children completed workshops in drama, sport, music and science before finishing with a chemistry demonstration on the creation of fireworks. Godalming's Mayor, Penny Rivers, was also present to join in on the fantastic presentation.

Our new science topic this half term is 'Chemistry'. After investigating the different parts of an atom, we went outside and made our own atom models using the periodic tables, skipping ropes and coloured cones.

We used our periodic tables to work out the number of protons, neutrons and electrons in each element before recreating physical versions.
