During the Autumn Term, Year 6 had the fantastic opportunity to take part in a number of workshops at Charter House. The children completed workshops in drama, sport, music and science before finishing with a chemistry demonstration on the creation of fireworks. Godalming's Mayor, Penny Rivers, was also present to join in on the fantastic presentation.
In drama children explored recreating modern day fairy tales using improvisation techniques before focusing on performance skills. Children had the opportunity to explore the use of different instruments in the music sessions, coming together to form their own bands with a performance of 'We Will Rock You'. In sport the children took part in hockey and basketball skills sessions. Finishing off the workshops was Science in which the children were able to create their own crystals in Chemistry and explore their own cheek cells in Biology.
