Loseley Netball Team

On Wednesday 13th November, the netball team from Loseley Fields competed in a tournament at Park Mead in Cranleigh. The team played other schools from the Waveley borough, playing 4 games in total. The team was made up of children from year 4 and 5 so our team was a lot younger than the other schools who mainly played year 6's. Nonetheless, the team played very well and managed to win a game and draw one too. Well done to all the players and a special thank you to Gina Stead who helps coach and run the team with Mrs Day.

Glebelands Cross Country Run

Glebelands Cross Country Run

On Saturday 9th November, a group of key stage 2 children from Loseley Fields braved the cold weather to participate in the Waverley School Sports Association Cross Country event at Glebelands in Cranleigh.
All the children who participated did amazingly well. Some were first timers and some had taken part last year an were back for more! As always all the children from Loseley did us proud by displaying grit and determination. All ran with a smile on their face enjoying the experience of running for their school.
Well done to Phoebe, Leon, Mia, Elsie, Koto, Amy, Huw, Aidan and George for their efforts and a special well done to Evan and Harry who won medals.

Susan Edwards from the Surrey Wildlife Trust visited the school to meet with our Outdoor Education Lead, Mr Etherton to talk about making the most out of our amazing grounds. Loseley Fields will be used as part of Surrey Wildlife Trusts Outdoor Education training programme and we look forward to welcoming their students to our school.

The site where the old 'POD' stood has now been cleared to make way for our new and exciting Loseley Field Study Centre. The Study Centre will house a bespoke STEM classroom which will open up onto the field providing more opportunities for outdoor learning.
