23rd March 2020 - Important Message from Headteacher

Dear Parents/Carers,

This morning staff spoke with parents coming to school about the government directive to close schools and that where children of critical workers could be safely looked after at home, they should do so, to ensure government guidelines could be followed.
However, following Boris Johnson’s public announcement this evening, it is clear the country is now in lockdown. We must avoid all unnecessary contact. As a result, we will only allow children of families with two critical workers who are on the frontline of preventing the spread of COVID 19 or children who have been identified as vulnerable by the school to attend our emergency childcare facility at school.

This decision is not easy and we understand that this will be difficult for your family. In these unprecedented times, we must all do our bit to slow the spread of the virus and protect our community.

Please do not bring your child to school in the morning if you do not meet the above criteria.

Thinking of you all at this challenging time,

Amanda Pedder (Headteacher)
