Ecotherapist Boxes

Our Ecotherapist Mrs Burke has put together ‘Flourish’ boxes so she can continue to offer emotional support for the children who usually access her therapy whilst they are not in school. Mrs Burke alongside Mrs Loveland - our Homeschool Link Worker, keep in touch with the pupils via zoom and guide them through the different projects which are aimed at keeping the children connected with nature.

The boxes contain cardboard shapes to make nature faces and owls, a flour and compost mix with wildflower seeds for seed bombs, salt dough mixture for nature prints, pots and compost for sowing sunflower, sweet pea and salad seeds, beans to sprout in a jar, Cheerios and pipe cleaners as well as loo rolls and lard for making bird feeders, colouring and nature treasure hunt sheets, cress to grow for a quick crop and some popping corn for them to make with the family.
