It is thanks to a grant from Godalming Town Council’s Carbon Reduction & Biodiversity fund that our native hedgerow & orchard planting project with Roots for the Future was able to go ahead; and yesterday we were pleased to be joined by Councillor Shirley Faraday who came along to see the project in action.

Ecotherapist Boxes

Our Ecotherapist Mrs Burke has put together ‘Flourish’ boxes so she can continue to offer emotional support for the children who usually access her therapy whilst they are not in school. Mrs Burke alongside Mrs Loveland - our Homeschool Link Worker, keep in touch with the pupils via zoom and guide them through the different projects which are aimed at keeping the children connected with nature.

Roots for the Futer

We would like to share a news item with you from 'In your Area - Community News'.The article is all about a project we are working on in partnership with 'Roots for the Future'. We plan to plant a native hedgerow and orchard at Loseley Fields and are grateful to Godalming Town Council's Environment & Planning Committee who have awarded us a grant from the Carbon Reduction & Biodiversity Fund of £4,200 for the project. The fund established in 2019, is to provide funding towards projects where a primary aim is to reduce CO2 emissions and promote biodiversity.
