Henley Fort Residential Trip Photos & Updates!
Day 3 Update: Had a great last day - canal boating and climbing or fire-lighting and doing archery. The children have enjoyed some great experiences on this trip! They have also developed their independence and teamwork skills.
We have had a super trip and all of the staff have been incredibly proud of the children and their achievements. Our children have also been exemplary ambassadors for the school. They were unfailingly polite and well-mannered at all times while we were away - and this has been remarked on by all the HF staff and also members of the public! They have also been great fun to be around! What's more, the children did a great job of keeping our communal areas and their yurts clean and tidy and apparently we were the cleanest group HF have had so far this year - which, given the weather, I think is quite an achievement!
We hope they all have a restful weekend now!
Day 2 Update: More pictures below of our boating, climbing and team activities.
Day 2 Update: Another amazing, and slightly wet, day of adventure! While boating, a member of the public saw our children working on a lock and said they'd like to send their child to our school based on their fantastic behaviour and attitudes! Very proud teachers!
Day 2 Update: A peaceful morning in camp, with a tidy up crew busy after breakfast!
Day 1 Update: The wet weather means we're having a movie night with hot chocolate!
Day 1 Update: We are soggy but in good spirits. Kids being super and doing us proud with their manners and tidying up after themselves!
