School Dinners Information

At lunch time children at Loseley Fields Primary School may either have a hot cooked school meal or bring a packed lunch. For parents who are new to our school, or whose children have not yet sampled the school meals, we thought it would be helpful to give you some more information about what is available.

Our catering staff provide a main cooked meal each day, such as a roast dinner, as well as a healthy alternative if preferred. The main meal consists of a balanced menu of protein (such as meat or fish), carbohydrate (such as rice or potatoes), two choices of vegetables as well as salad and bread each day. Desserts are often home made with alternatives each day such as yogurt, biscuit, fruit or cheese and biscuits.

Copies of the menus used by our school kitchen that are changed weekly are attached at the bottom of this section to download.

The cost of a school meal is £2.15 per day, £10.75 per week and can be paid weekly or termly. All meals must be paid for in advance.

You can pay for meals in cash, by cheque (made payable to Surrey County Council please) or by using our online facility at www.scopay.com/school. To register for the first time you will need an access code that can be obtained from the school office.

Free school meals are available for families in need and details of how to apply for these are available from the school office.  The application form for free school meals is available to download below.

Meals can also be provided for children who are vegetarians or who have a special diet recommended by their doctor. Again, please consult the school office for more details on how to apply for these.

School milk is available for all children, ordered direct from Cool Milk. Please see our links page for direct access to their website. Alternatively, you can telephone them direct on 0800 3213248.
