GOOD NEWS - Loseley Fields comes out of special measures

Dear Parents
We are delighted to announce that Loseley Fields Primary School has now officially been taken out of special measures by Ofsted who inspected the school on 21-22 March 2012.
The Ofsted team praised the school for the rapid improvement it has continued to make over the last 18 months. The school was inspected under the new, rigorous Ofsted Framework and was judged as satisfactory overall with many good elements.
Of course we are very proud of this recent success. The improvements are a result of the exceptional hard work of all the pupils, staff and governors, who have been fully committed to the vision of reaching for our star by achieving together.
Coming out of special measures is not an end in itself but a milestone on our continuing journey of improvement, putting children at the heart of all we do to achieve the best possible standards for their education. Ofsted are likely to visit us again in a year to eighteen months time, when we aim to become even better.
‘The school shows that it has a good capacity to continue towards its major aim of becoming outstanding.’  (Ofsted report March 2012)
I am thrilled to be continuing to work with the staff and governors at Loseley Fields who have the highest expectations for your lovely children. Thank you for your support as parents in a community where in partnership we can continue to achieve great things.
The full Ofsted report can be found by clicking on the link on the Ofsted website, www.ofsted.gov.uk and copies are available at reception.
With warm regards,

Miss Jill Pearce-Haydon
Headteacher
